From Idea to Implementation in 1 Year: Standardizing Classroom AV Equipment for 2,000 Classrooms

Classroom Audio Visual (AV) equipment that allows students to see and hear content shared by the teacher is essential. Until this year, the Beaverton School District did not have a standard or centralized funding for this classroom AV equipment, which includes things like projectors, TVs, document cameras and mirroring devices. Over the past year, IT has helped to create a baseline standard and secure money from the current bond to bring every classroom in the district up to this standard. We'll share some of the lessons that we've learned from this process, which has often been as challenging as it has been rewarding.
