Emerging technologies such as Learner Education Records, machine adaptive response, Natural Language Processing, and Generative AI are being integrated into the next generation of educational technologies at the hardware, software, and ecosystem level.  This session will explore the current state of these technologies, how they integrate together, and how they will impact curriculum design, pedagogy, and school system design.  Additionally, assessment, policy and procurement implications will be examined.  Finally, the consideration of how to prepare students for a world of the interactive internet of things for civic engagement, continuing education, and career pathways will be examined.
